Torch Lamp

This non-working floor torch lamp is easy to make.

You need three things:

single button
suction cup
wooden dowel

I used a thick, wide button as my lamp base. I cut a wooden dowel into a six inch length and glued it to the base using hot glue. For the "glass" lampshade, I used a suction cup about 1 1/2 inches in diameter and glued it to the top.

As a finishing touch, I painted the wooden dowel with metallic silver craft paint.

In another entry I hope to cover the wall treatment pictured as well as the black and white modern chair made from scraps of wood.
